With nearly 10 years of experience working in Europe on large-scale projects such as theaters, museums, and institutional buildings, architects Lucas A. Pissetti and Fernanda Romeu return to Brazil with the goal of implementing their experience in their own original projects.

 

Based in Florianópolis, Atelier Pissetti Romeu believes in the reuse of existing buildings as a true form of sustainability , focusing on the purity of materials and the quality of architectural details to deliver unique projects.

Lucas Alencar Pissetti is an architect, graduated from the University of Caxias do Sul/RS (2013), and holds a master's degree in architectural design from the Academie van Bouwkunst in Amsterdam, Netherlands (2020). His master's thesis, "Refavela," was awarded "Cum-Laude" distinction by the university. He was an adjunct professor of design at the Academie van Bouwkunst in 2021. He gained technical experience through various projects using the BIM methodology, in collaboration with the offices NOAHH and Proof of the Sum , in the Netherlands.

Fernanda Romeu is an architect, graduated from the University of Caxias do Sul/RS (2014), and holds a master's degree in architectural design from Fontys University in Tilburg, Netherlands (2019). She was an adjunct professor of design at the Rotterdam Academy (RAVB) in 2023. She has extensive experience in public projects across Europe, focusing on the reuse of historic buildings, and collaborated with the Amsterdam-based firm Civic Architects for 8 years. In Brazil, she has worked on various residential and commercial interior design projects.
